Stoked!

I'm so fuckin stoked today. While I was sitting at home waiting for some douche bag to sell me his bike, I decided to book my flight to the great PNW. I will be flying to PDX and staying with Brandon for a few day. He's then going to drive me to WA where I will be there for about 10 days. May is so fucking far from now, but I'm excited. I can't wait.

So while I was on my way to work, douche bag calls me. I tell him I'll swing by after 9 when I get off of work. Well, while I'm at work, I jump onto craigs and see a posting for a Bianchi San Jose 52cm. PERFECT! I email the seller and bailed on work 1 hour early. I'm a proud owner of a Bianchi San Jose. All the waiting payed off. I gotta thank Jeff for talking me out of buying the cheap SE Draft. haha. The seller was so awesome. It was a married couple. The dude was into cycling, he was talking about all this stuff and it just went over my head. lol.. The bike was bought in 2006, but it looks brand spankin new! I need to send them an email to say thanks for the bike. I'll get pics of it tomorrow.

Valentine.....

Today is Valentine's Day, but it was celebrated yesterday. lol. I took Lorna to lunch at Gomo Tei, then we went to watch Coraline in 3D.. Dude, it was a great movie. Dropped her home, then picked her up to go to dinner. We ate at the Hau Tree Lanai. It was very nice. A tad bit windy, but we were comfortable. We had escargot and lobster asparagus for appetizers. Lorna had lamb and I had filet mignon. Food was awesome. We were both stuffed, but we still had room for desert! So, I took her to Bubbies on University. Lorna and I are ice cream lovers, we can never say no! haha We fininshed our night off at my place and watched Greys and a couple episodes of Californication.

WA bound!

I did my taxes today. Turbotax.com made it fuckin easy! Refund should be deposited next week Friday! Cheeeee! I'm taking that money and spending it to help the economy. I'm going back to WA. I really want Lorna to come with me, but if her work schedule sucks balls, then I'm going alone. It's been years since I've moved back home. There will be so little time to see so many friends.

Recap!

Christmas was pretty awesome this year. Sheraton provided some ono grinds. I ate well over my $51! haha. Chocolate covered pancakes, omelets, sashimi, fondue fontain, and more! Family was great company as always. Then went to Kalihi to chill with the other side of the fam who I don't get to see too often. Was able to drink some beers and catch up.

Afterwards, I picked up Lorna and we exchanged gifts. She loved her fighting fish and necklace. And I got the book that I have been really wanting to read!
It's pretty awesome. I can't put it down. So nice to be able to read something that has nothing to do with school! Lorna's other gift to me is either a tattoo or a bike. As much as I want a tattoo, I want a bike more. I just can't decide.

We then went to Mel's house for dinner to kick it with her family. Seeing Ronel's MK3 Jetta under the car cover really made me want another MK3. Fuckin trailer queens. His rotors were still new. ABT lip and skirts! His car hasn't moved in 5 years! Oh and his dog, Kobey, tried to hump me! Fuck!

Next up is New Years Eve. I can't wait! I only spent $35 on fireworks this year though, so not nearly as much as last year. Ant and Armand will be spending NYE with us this year too. I feel bad because they really don't have family here. Well, they do, but their family doesn't do much during NYE and Lorna works. Should be fun though.

1 Week...

That's all I have left for the semester. All this hard work seems to be paying off. I talked to my adviser and she told me all I need to take are 2 more labs next sem. Cheeeee! So after this semester, I can pretty much work full time. Yay for money! I don't want to sound like a money hungry mother fucking bastard, but shit, money gives me choices. More choices makes me happy. It's pretty much one of the big reasons why I want to get my school shit done.

She asked if I wasn't with her, would I be where I am now? Honestly, probably not. Maybe somewhere down the road, yes. Her pressuring, nagging, concern, or whatever you want to call it has helped push me to where I am now. She has planted a seed in my head that finishing school is important and that I am more than capable of getting my degree. I'm getting closer! Cheeeee!

Oh.... I"m up to 170 lbs.. fuck!

Thanksgiving is done and over with, but I am forever thankful for everything. Family, friends, good health, etc. I'm lucky to be surrounded by people who make my life awesome. God has blessed me and I will continue to praise Him!

One word to describe yesterday, STUFFED! There was so much food, and it was good food! It ranged from spaghetti to prime rib to oyster stuffing! I tried everything once, and went for a 2nd serving of my favorites. bwahaha. Some Primo, few hands of Hold 'Em, and an unexpected, but very well appreciated QT with Lorna topped the Thanksgiving night off! I am thankful!

Tonight I went to see the new Disney flick, Bolt, in 3-D. OMG, all movies should be filmed in 3-D. The movie was good, but the 3-D just made it so much better! Both Kai and Lorna enjoyed it just as much as I did. It was well worth the extra $2.50 that they charge for each ticket! We are definately going to catch the next one that comes out!

I went to the Apple Store today and I was so tempted to just buy an iPhone. I want one. I also want a damn iPod. I must be the only person on this earth that doesn't own an iPod or an MP3 player. haha Maybe I shouldn't have sold mine. lol.
