Recap!

Christmas was pretty awesome this year. Sheraton provided some ono grinds. I ate well over my $51! haha. Chocolate covered pancakes, omelets, sashimi, fondue fontain, and more! Family was great company as always. Then went to Kalihi to chill with the other side of the fam who I don't get to see too often. Was able to drink some beers and catch up.

Afterwards, I picked up Lorna and we exchanged gifts. She loved her fighting fish and necklace. And I got the book that I have been really wanting to read!
It's pretty awesome. I can't put it down. So nice to be able to read something that has nothing to do with school! Lorna's other gift to me is either a tattoo or a bike. As much as I want a tattoo, I want a bike more. I just can't decide.

We then went to Mel's house for dinner to kick it with her family. Seeing Ronel's MK3 Jetta under the car cover really made me want another MK3. Fuckin trailer queens. His rotors were still new. ABT lip and skirts! His car hasn't moved in 5 years! Oh and his dog, Kobey, tried to hump me! Fuck!

Next up is New Years Eve. I can't wait! I only spent $35 on fireworks this year though, so not nearly as much as last year. Ant and Armand will be spending NYE with us this year too. I feel bad because they really don't have family here. Well, they do, but their family doesn't do much during NYE and Lorna works. Should be fun though.

1 Week...

That's all I have left for the semester. All this hard work seems to be paying off. I talked to my adviser and she told me all I need to take are 2 more labs next sem. Cheeeee! So after this semester, I can pretty much work full time. Yay for money! I don't want to sound like a money hungry mother fucking bastard, but shit, money gives me choices. More choices makes me happy. It's pretty much one of the big reasons why I want to get my school shit done.

She asked if I wasn't with her, would I be where I am now? Honestly, probably not. Maybe somewhere down the road, yes. Her pressuring, nagging, concern, or whatever you want to call it has helped push me to where I am now. She has planted a seed in my head that finishing school is important and that I am more than capable of getting my degree. I'm getting closer! Cheeeee!

Thanksgiving is done and over with, but I am forever thankful for everything. Family, friends, good health, etc. I'm lucky to be surrounded by people who make my life awesome. God has blessed me and I will continue to praise Him!

One word to describe yesterday, STUFFED! There was so much food, and it was good food! It ranged from spaghetti to prime rib to oyster stuffing! I tried everything once, and went for a 2nd serving of my favorites. bwahaha. Some Primo, few hands of Hold 'Em, and an unexpected, but very well appreciated QT with Lorna topped the Thanksgiving night off! I am thankful!

Tonight I went to see the new Disney flick, Bolt, in 3-D. OMG, all movies should be filmed in 3-D. The movie was good, but the 3-D just made it so much better! Both Kai and Lorna enjoyed it just as much as I did. It was well worth the extra $2.50 that they charge for each ticket! We are definately going to catch the next one that comes out!

I went to the Apple Store today and I was so tempted to just buy an iPhone. I want one. I also want a damn iPod. I must be the only person on this earth that doesn't own an iPod or an MP3 player. haha Maybe I shouldn't have sold mine. lol.

Saturday night I get to attend a wedding reception.... ALONE! haha. Well, Lorna is part of the wedding party and I pretty much don't know anybody attending. This should be interesting. I jokingly told Joyce to sit me close to the bar. Kevin + alcohol = social butterfly. haha! Fuck, I don't even have clothes, dress shoes, or a damn belt. Oh well. Should be fun.

On another note, it's been about a week since I've been back at home. Lorna is with her parents. Pretty much sucks. I miss her. =/

Home...

Well, looks like I'm back at home. Uggh! Pretty lame if you ask me. But, it's something I have to do. I'm only working 3 days a week! I was having a really hard time keeping up with my bills. So now it's time to save some fuckin money.. or at least try to. haha. Knowing that I will have more money, I know I'm going to have the urge to "make it rain"! haha

Here's a list of things I "need"...

- Plasma HDTV - I was spoiled. Now I'm back at standard definition. Weak!
- 5.1 Sound - A plasma must be matched with a nice surround sound system.
- Bike - I need to exercise.

Thanks to craigslist, my favorite Canon lens is sold. *sigh* I will eventually buy it again sometime down the road, but only after I upgrade the crap that I call a camera. Pics and vid for fun. Things I sold and wish I didn't!

School has been really kicking my ass lately. I have a lot of work to do this week. Where the hell do I start? Lab book? Case Study #2? Onilne quizes? Midterm reviews? Somebody shoot me. I feel like my brain is about to explode. So cliche, but that's the best way to describe it.

Craigs

Why does craigslist have to be filled with a bunch of fkn scammers? No matter what you try to sell, people try to take your fkn money. Jesus H. Christ, how many stupid people are there? I've tried selling a few items on CL and 75% of the people that email me are fkn scammers! Serously, if people actually fall for this shit, I feel sorry for them. I mean, yeah, they mention PayPal, UPS, Money Orders, and all that Jazz, but I'm not going to fall for that shit. All this crap has made me weary of shipping stuff that I sell. I had so many offers (which seemed legit) from people asking if I'm willing to ship, but with all this crap going on, I say, "NO!!", just to prevent all this shit. I rather take my chances, meet up with the person, alone, and take money in hand. Another thing with CL are the bunch of damn lowballin douche bags. Seriously, if I'm asking $500 OBO, don't try to offer me $200. Who do these people think I am? Or who the hell do they think they are? And if they do offer you the amount you are looking for, 90% of the time, buyer flakes and backs out. "Damn it Beavis!", if you didn't want the item in the first place, why are you going to waste my time? There were other people that was interested in buying my crap!

Broke!

Give and take. Looks like thats how it's going to work right now. Payday today, and guess what, it's all gone thanks to bills. Fuck man it sucks. It's going to be like this for a long fucking time. Broke!

On a good note, studying is paying off. Pulling A's and B's on my quizes. Cheeee! I pretty much live at Starbucks now. The employees there probably recognize me, but don't know what I drink because I rarely buy coffee. BYOB nigga! haha

Sacrifice

That's what it's all about. I have to make sacrifices to get what I really want. What kind of sacrifices you ask? Work... cut the hours at work, increase the hours at school. All this will pay off in the long run. It's what I want. It's what needs to happen. It's going to happen. I will get there. Funny thing is I type this while I should be studying..

New Lappy!

It's about damn time! I finally got a new laptop! Funny thing is, that it's not even a brand that I was looking to get. Mac? Nope. Dell? No. HP? Ha!... Gateway! Yay! I got a pretty good deal on it to. It was clearance at BestBuy because it's an older model. It's geared towards gaming too. Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 250GB HD, ATI Mobility Radeon Graphics card, HDMI, Vista 64-Bit, yada, yada, yada. I'm very happy!

Another Attempt

Last night started one of many attempts to get into shape. Any shape other than round is good! I enter the gym, iPod blazing. Amazing how a workout accompanied by good music makes me feel so isolated from everyone else in there. I don't feel like people are watching. Despite how proud I felt for actually setting foot in the gym, all that came crashing down as I pushed on my first set. Fuck! It was bad. I was nowhere near the strength I was 3 years ago. Cardio was just as bad. But, it's a start.
